So cute.. This picture may seem entirely irrelevant, but it isn't completely because we are going to look at the Endomembrane System of an ANIMAL CELL!
The Endomembrane System consists of the nuclear envelope, the endoplasmic reticulum, the Golgi apparatus, lysosomes, all sorts of varying vesicles and vacuoles(the STORAGE DUDE), and the plasma membrane.
This picture shows the system and its parts that make it up. This system carries out a variety of tasks in the cell, like synthesis of proteins, transport of proteins into membranes and organelles or even out of the cell! The metabolism and movement of lipids are caused by the Endomembrane system too, and the detoxifying of poisons.
